“ Great food, flavor and cook on all ingredients were really well done. This was a happy surprise, the service was excellent and friendly. It’s a small restaurant but the experience felt intimate and welcoming. I couldn’t stop thinking about my pesto dish. Drinks and apps also set the tone, very delicious. Definitely will come back again if I ever visit West Palm again. ”
“ We had a wonderful experience here. The owner walked us through the menu and giving us his personal favorites. The escargot was the best we have ever had!! The beef stroganoff was delicious and my husband really enjoyed the pescado a lo macho. We will be coming back! ”
“ I was craving Peruvian food and I found this place and it was one of the best restaurants in west Palm beach. This place is own by a married couple who knows what they are doing, service was amazing, food was very delicious, what else could you ask for! I definitely recommend giving this a try a real gem ”
“ If you love Peruvian food, then you have to try this place. We loved everything we ordered. It's like a mama and papa store, and the food is amazing. The Nikkei Ceviche tastes soooo good, and the Escargots was cooked perfectly, soft, and juicy. We will definitely go back again when we visit Palm Beach next time!!! ”
“ I rarely rate restaurants in such a public fashion but this one deserves a shoutout! I was in West Palm Beach for work and this restaurant was recommended for an authentic Peruvian experience and it did not disappoint. Everything I tried was very flavorful plus the owners were so lovely. In addition to this restaurant, they also have a dessert and coffee shop a few doors down on the same street for more quick-bite items. Overall it was a 10/10 experience and I can not wait to revisit West Palm and experience this restaurant again. My photos do no justice but just imagine the flavors!! ”
“ The food was sooooo delicious! And the drinks were also so good. We got a mango pisco sour, ceviche, and pollo saltado. It was authentic peruvian. The service was great. They were very attentive and nice. 10/10 vibes, we’ll be coming back! ”
“ The food here was amazing! We had the yucca which was so crispy but tender on the inside and the sauce that came with it was incredible. I also had the lomo saltado and my husband had the chaufa de mariscos. They were both sooo good and the picante sauce was delicious as well. Loved all the food here and will definitely return if we get the chance. Highly recommend!! ”
“ We were going on a trip to the Florida Keys, and we were specifically taking the A1A all the way down. Always wanted to do that. We identified some restaurants we wanted to look into for lunch, and this place peaked our interest! So we pulled up, found some street parking pretty easily, and got seated promptly. Ambiance was nice. A nice little outdoor patio area that was bisected by sidewalk. Giant window to look out of for the indoor seating. Open kitchen so you could watch the cooking. Not bad. Quaint. Service was excellent. I have a feeling it was just the owner doing the serving from when the place opened until closer to dinner time, but man, he busted his behind taking care of us and everyone else who was there. Good stuff. And then the food. We started off with the Wonton de Cangrejo (Crispy Fried Wontons Filled With Crab Meat And A Zesty Homemade Sour Sauce). These were fine. Exactly what you'd expect. Same with the sauce. If that's what you're feeling, that's fine, but if you're wanting something different and unique, get something else for an app. Next was the Ceviche Mixto (Our Seafood Dish Cured With Lime, Paired With Sweet Potato, Onions, Cilantro And Peruvian Corn). Now this was a good ceviche. Not too acidic, somehow. Perfectly cooked, perfectly succulent seafood. Plump shrimp and cute little bay scallops. Really good. Could use some pine nuts for a crunchy texture, but other than that, I really enjoyed this. Hmm, I can't really find the main event dish we had. It was beef and veggies sauteed up and served over rice. It was really lovely. Something about the Peruvian spice blend makes it taste like chili powder, but with no spice. Beef was tender, the veggies were plentiful, and that was some of the best rice I've ever had. Really great dish. Overall, this place was a really unexpected find on my way down towards the Keys. I never would have thought to stop in this town to find some food, but since Mestizo has won its place on some pretty prestigious lists recently, it drew me in, and I am very lucky that it did. ”
